This voyage, more than 2,000 nautical miles from the familiarity of Oak Park’s winter frost, is not about distance. It is about discontinuity.
The spaciousness where former definitions lose jurisdiction.
When traveling becomes existential, it is no longer itinerary.

Who am I away from routine?
Who am I without audience?
Who am I before the next reveal?
Who am I when genius is not performed—but permitted?
The ship moves slowly.
