Today my car wouldn’t start.
What followed was not mechanical — it was human.
Two neighbors I now fondly call Angie “The Gripper” and her partner Matt she introduced to me as “Fiancé Boy,”stepped in without hesitation. Calm. Capable. Unassuming. Engineers by training, helpers by nature, human angels,definitelyd undisguised.
No ego.
No inconvenience.
Just presence,engineering coupled genius presence…
They assessed the situation methodically, checked connections, used real cables, and even called Angie’s dad, Jeff — a car enthusiast — for added insight.
The car started.
Then it died again moments later.
And oddly, that didn’t feel like failure.
